The Emergency Maintenance Number is for Emergency Maintenance only and should not be used to request normal maintenance. For normal maintenance you should submit a Maintenance Request.
 
     
 

Emergency Maintenance is for an event that has caused major damage to the Property and/or is causing damage to the property and requires immediate attention otherwise major damage to the Property will occur and/or for a condition related to the property that is life threating. Below are examples of events and conditions that are considered an Emergency Maintenance and suggested actions to follow:

  • Fire inside the house
    • Ensure everyone is safe
    • Call 911 to report the fire
    • Then call Mark-It Properties

  • Gas Leak
    • Evacuate everyone from the house
    • Call the gas company
    • Then call Mark-It Properties

  • Major Water Leak
    • Shutoff the main water value to the house and/or any localized shutoff valve
    • Then call Mark-It Properties
    • Do not call the plumber unless you are unable to shutoff the water and the water leak is causing damage to the house

  • Natural Disaster that caused damage to the house
    • Call 911 if you need help
    • Then call Mark-It Properties

  • No Heat and the temperature in the house is below 50 degrees
    • Call Mark-It Properties

Below are examples of events and conditions that are considered normal maintenance and should not be reported as an Emergency Maintenance:

  • A dripping faucet or stopped-up drain
  • A running toliet or stopped-up toliet (unless there is only one toliet in the house)
  • A shingle blowing off the house or a tree falling in the yard due to a storm
  • A power outage attributed to a local power outage
  • An appliance is not working
  • The air conditioning unit is not working
  • The garage door opener is not working
  • A window is cracked or broken
